Celebrating Activism and Social Change: LGBTIQ+ History Month

LGBTIQ+ History Month is a time to reflect on the remarkable progress made towards equality and inclusion. This year’s theme, “Activism and Social Change,” invites us to honor the tireless efforts of individuals and organizations that have fought for LGBTIQ+ rights and shaped the welcoming reality we experience today in Scotland.

Throughout the centuries, countless activists and allies have devoted their lives to advocating for the rights of LGBTIQ+ people. Their dedication and courage have paved the way for a more inclusive and accepting society. From challenging discriminatory laws to raising awareness and fostering understanding, their work has created lasting change.

At the Queer Breakfast Club in Grangemouth, we are dedicating our Evening Cuppa meetings this month to celebrating these incredible contributions.
